Dave has had a passion for all things music from an early age. He was introduced to music first through trumpet, but soon realized his passion was bass. After several years of playing bass, he went off to WVU to study music. Funk, R&B, and jazz are his main passions, really anything with a groove, but he’s also played in many diverse settings, including orchestras, percussion ensembles, bluegrass and folk bands, and rock bands. Dave has a quenchless thirst for music knowledge that drives him into many diverse studies of music. Currently, Dave plays with rock/funk bands Soul Shine Overdrive and Hell’s Oasis in the Pittsburgh area.
